The age limit for human beings is 120 Years
The Bible got it right again – Stated in Genesis 6:3 and confirmed by scientific studies: The age limit for human beings is 120 Years
Facts/Science supporting this:
Genesis 6:3 states, "Then the LORD said, 'My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.’". (NIV) Two new research studies published in May of 2021, along with research from studies done in the 1960’s, come to the same conclusion stated in this Bible verse.

Nature Communications reports that research conducted by Gero Biotech on blood markers showed that the human body’s resilience (its ability to recover from diseases and other physical stressors) diminishes with age. They found that theoretically this ability is totally lost by between ages 120 to 150; however in actual practice the limit is 120 years. The oldest confirmed human female age ever reached is just a few days over 121 years old. The oldest confirmed male age is 116. This prompted Kylie Quinn, the leader of the Aging and Immunological Group at RMIT University of Melbourne, to conclude, “So we know there is something about that 120 years of age, which is a real challenge in getting past that.”
This research is further supported by work done at Oxford University by a collaboration of scientists from 14 different countries at the Leverhulme Center for Demographic Science. They concluded that “biological constraints” result in an “invariant rate of aging,” and therefore the “aging process is unstoppable”.
This reconfirms research done in the United States at the National Institute of Health in the 1960’s which showed that genetic factors cause human lung tissue to begin dying at age 20 at the rate of 1% or more per year. This research also supports the 120 year limit stated in Genesis 6:3
